Questions, answered straight
How do I pay?+
PayPal or bank transfer via Wise. You'll get an invoice in USD. For bookings we make on your behalf, we pass through the local CNY price plus our fee — no hidden markups.
Why can't I just book everything myself?+
You can book flights and some hotels on Trip.com. But most lift passes, local hotels and transfers are sold through WeChat mini-programs and Chinese OTAs that need a Chinese phone number and payment method — and often at prices only visible in Chinese. That's the gap we close.
Is PandaPowder a tour operator?+
No. We're a trip-planning and booking-assistance service — a booking agent, not a tour operator. We don't run tours, employ guides, or operate transport. Bookings are with the resorts, hotels and transport providers directly, under their terms.
What about backcountry skiing?+
We refer backcountry and freeride guiding only to licensed local guides and operators — we never organise off-piste skiing ourselves. Ask us and we'll connect you.
What if the policy or prices change?+
China's visa-free policy currently runs to 31 December 2026 and resort prices shift season to season. Your itinerary states what was verified and when, and we flag anything that could move before your trip.
Do you handle groups?+
Yes — groups of 5+ and multi-resort trips are quoted individually. Mention it in the form and we'll come back with a custom price.
