Snow realityNo overselling
Same Chongli deal: bone-dry cold, nearly all man-made snow, superbly maintained. The Olympic legacy means grooming and snowmaking here are genuinely world-class — the halfpipe and parks are the best in China. But natural powder? Rare. The trail stats also oversell it slightly: several 'advanced' runs would be solid blues in the Alps.

Getting there
Same Beijing–Taizicheng high-speed train (~1 hr); Secret Garden is about 15 min from Taizicheng station by resort shuttle or taxi. Closest major resort to the HSR station.

On-mountain hotels run $80–250/night. The Chongli town option (~$30–50) works here too, 25–30 min away.
