Most stats for Keketuohai trace to weak or promotional sources and conflict with each other — treat all figures as TBC. We list it because the skiing is real; the data just hasn't caught up.

Snow realityNo overselling

High, cold, dry — the snow here stays winter-quality longer than anywhere else in China, which is why the season runs into May. Coverage is thinner than Jikepulin (it's steeper and more wind-affected), and this is the least developed of the three Altay areas we cover: services are basic, English is zero, and conditions reporting barely exists. For a certain kind of skier that's exactly the appeal. Treat every published stat about this place — including ours — with suspicion until you're standing on it.
